Suzanne Price

Suzanne and her husband Jerry are both native Texans and are returning to their roots after Christian Ministry in Mississippi and North Louisiana for over 30 years. They have been blessed with five children and she is now "Nana" to twenty grandchildren. One of Suzanne's first teaching experiences was a 1st grade classroom at a small Christian School while her husband was attending Seminary. She realized at that time that teaching would be an important part of God's will for her life, and she began working toward her educational qualifications for classroom instruction. Suzanne exhibits a deep love for teaching and guiding students not only in academics but establishing a firm foundation of faith in Jesus. She has always aspired to create in her classroom a place that inhabits a sense of unconditional love, joy, and an excitement for learning. Making a positive difference in a child's life is one of Suzanne's goals going forward at Evergreen Classical School.

Suzanne earned an undergraduate degree in Communication and a Master's degree in Education/Teacher Leadership from the University of Phoenix. She periodically homeschooled her children, taught at private Christian Schools and public schools over the span of her teaching career. Most recently, Suzanne served as a sixth grade teacher and elementary director at a Christian School in Louisiana before moving back to Texas. During her tenure as a teacher she has taught seminars, guided student teachers in her classroom, and collaborated with fellow teachers to learn and grow in the field of teaching. Outside of the classroom, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and cooking with Jerry. She is extremely excited to be a part of the Evergreen community where children not only receive an incredible education, but acquire the skills to make a difference for the Kingdom of God as they mature in their faith.
